Seasons of Hope; Love Forlorn
Before you read, I want to briefly explain these poems. The first four are short, each dedicated to an adoration of a season in some way or another. Brought together, they create new poems, depending on the ordering of the seasons. The poem ending with fall, titled Love Forlorn, describes a love that for some reason cannot last, while the poem ending with spring, Love of Hope, describes falling in love and the feelings inherent therein. I hope you enjoy each of them.
Summer
Each day streams endless A time of sun without night Let me slip away
Fall
Fear can’t permeate Though this beauty won’t last In a red twilight
Winter
When doubts quickly flee In white auras so charming Let me dream of you
Spring
As on you I wait Your spell upon me now cast Of hope taken flight
Love of Hope
Each day streams endless
Fear can’t permeate When doubts quickly flee As on you I wait
A time of sun without night Though this beauty won’t last In white auras so charming Your spell upon me now cast
Let me slip away In a red twilight Let me dream of you Of hope taken flight
Love Forlorn
When doubts quickly flee As on you I wait Each day streams endless Fear can’t permeate
In white auras so charming Your spell upon me now cast A time of sun without night Though this beauty won’t last
Let me dream of you Of hope taken flight Let me slip away In a red twilight
